The Free Ticketed Community Event Is Set For July 1 At The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre At Eisenhower Park
East Meadow, NY – June 25, 2026 — After a crowd of more than 6,700 watched the United States defeat Australia at last Friday’s live broadcast event at Eisenhower Park, The Island FC, in partnership with Nassau County and Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman, will host a second free ticketed public viewing event for the United States Men’s National Team’s FIFA World Cup 26™ Round of 32 match on Tuesday, July 1. The event will begin at 7:00 PM ET ahead of the 8:00 PM ET kickoff at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park. Gates open at 6:00 PM ET.
The return of “Soccer In The Park” builds on the strong community response to the club’s first public viewing event and continues the growing momentum around the game on Long Island as fans rally behind the U.S. team in what is also known as the Knockout Stage. Teams that lose in this round are eliminated from the competition and do not advance in the tournament. The event also comes as Nassau County and communities across the country continue celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, adding to the significance of gathering to support Team USA on the global stage.
Fans attending the free event can enjoy the match on two large viewing screens and take part in giveaways and family-friendly activities. Merchandise, concessions, and beverages will also be available throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the viewing experience. Free parking will once again be available on-site, with Lots 6 and 6A located closest to the venue.

bringing “Soccer In The Park” back an easy decision, particularly as the country celebrates
America’s 250th anniversary.
