The Island FC joined News 12 and thousands of fans at Eisenhower Park’s Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre for a memorable FIFA World Cup Watch Party as the U.S. Men’s National Team secured a 2-0 victory over Australia and punched its ticket to the knockout round. Despite a hectic weekend on Long Island that also included the U.S. Open and Father’s Day celebrations, supporters packed the park to celebrate the world’s game and showcase the region’s growing passion for soccer.
